Choose the CV file you already have on your computer, the same Word or PDF you would attach to an email. Send the longest, most complete version you have: the more you include, the more we have to choose from. We read it once and remember it, so you only do this part once.

About thirty seconds later you get a Word document to download. It's an ordinary .docx file, so you can open it, change anything you like and send it. Underneath, we tell you in plain words what makes you a good fit for that job and what you're missing.

This is an actual Word document produced by this tool, not a picture of one. Open it in Word, Google Docs or Pages and have a look for yourself.

No. You can use it straight away. An account is only useful if you want us to remember your CV for longer than a day, keep a history of what you've made, or go beyond the free daily amount.
No, and this is the rule we are strictest about. It can only use what is already written in the CV you send. It chooses what is most relevant, puts it in a better order and rewords it, but it never adds a job, a date, a qualification or a number that wasn't there.
If you are not signed in, your CV and the results are deleted automatically after about 24 hours. If you have an account we keep them so you can come back to them, and you can replace your CV whenever you want.
Yes. What you download is an ordinary Word (.docx) file. Open it in Word, Google Docs or Pages and change whatever you want before sending it. Do read it through first: it is your CV and your name on it.
Because that is the point. A good application shows an employer the parts of your experience that matter to them, not everything you have ever done. Send us the longest version of your CV you have and we pick out what fits each job.
